Thanks to Marie and Buddy Catterton for their dedicated work to refurbish the sign at the entrance to our neighborhood. Here’s a photo of the refurbished sign.
The original sign was erected 12-15 years ago — it’s a carved wooden sign. Over the years, paint dried and was peeling and flaking; wood had dried and was splintered; and, termites had attacked the back of the sign.
Marie and Buddy Catterton removed the old, weather-beaten sign. They spent several weeks carefully scraping, sanding, filling, priming and painting. They completed the work by applying two coats of varnish sealer. They also cleaned, primed and re-painted the support posts.
THANK YOU, MARIE AND BUDDY FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO OUR NEIGHBORHOOD!!
