Scroll to bottom of this article for latest update.

The National Weather Service in Wakefield, VA, has issued a winter weather warning for our area beginning around midnight Sat/Sun, Jan 30-31 continuing until 7:00 PM Sunday, Jan 31.  Occasional snow and freezing rain will continue off and on through midday Tuesday, Feb 2.

Drive carefully.  Watch for frozen patches on roads; snow on roads can hide frozen patches beneath the snow.  Do not follow other vehicles closely.  Watch for downed trees and power lines — do not approach downed power lines.
