Tropical Storm Ida to affect our neighborhood : UPDATE

This update is as of 8:00 AM, Monday, August 30, 2021.

Tropical Storm Ida is projected to reach our neighborhood late Wednesday, Sep 1, as a tropical depression with maximum winds of 39 MPH and rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches..  The storm is projected to leave our neighborhood Thursday morning, Sep 2.

North Carolina, central Virginia, east central Virginia, eastern
Virginia, north central Virginia, south central Virginia and
southeast Virginia.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

The remnants of Tropical Cyclone Ida will impact the region on
Wednesday. Showers and thunderstorms associated with this system
could produce some instances of flash flooding, especially across the
Piedmont. Isolated severe storms will also be possible.
