The National Weather Service office in Wakefield VA has updated the weather forecast for our area.  Snow has all but been removed from the forecast, however, cold, blustery weather with the possibility of freezing precipitation remains in the forecast.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southeast Maryland, eastern
Virginia and southeast Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Breezy to windy conditions are expected later Sunday afternoon into
Sunday night, as a strong low pressure system tracks through the
region. This wind will bring the potential for moderate tidal
flooding along the Chesapeake Bay and adjacent tidal estuaries.

A brief period of wintry precipitation is possible Sunday afternoon
before quickly changing to rain. Little to no accumulation is
expected. Please continue to monitor the latest forecasts.
